When Sunny Gets Blue is a project about nothing.
Although nothing in its definition has no association or place in time, the nothing can also be the lack of something, the space in-between thoughts, silences, quiet reflections. The film conveys a strange sense of time, the feeling that time is passing but nothing is happening, however the nothing becomes poetic and nostalgic, as the viewer is reminded of an empty playground where a child goes to play and wait.
